What next after S.S.L.C? – An informative Seminar at Samanvaya

Mangalore , Thursday, July 29, 2010 : Samanvaya Mangalore and Sahodaya Bethany service Center Bendore had jointly organized a day’s seminar on ‘What next after S.S.L.C? at Samanvaya Hall, Urwastores on July 27, 2010 to the Sahodaya Bethany Women Federation members.

The chief guest Rev. Dr. Ronald Cutinho, director of Samanvaya having inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp said, “Value base education is meant for all seasons and for all ages. Our education should make us good citizens, rich with values and filled with wisdom.”

Sr. Mable D’Souza, Women Co-ordinator of Samanvaya was the resource person of the seminar. The various possible avenues of education after SSLC were thrown open by her. P.U.C, Degree, I.T.I , Polytechnic, Apprentice Training, Self Employment, Fine Arts etc. were possible options available. With hard work, time management and discipline one can excel in life. She made the things clear by power point presentation.

Sr. Prema Gonsalves Co-ordinator of Sahodaya Bethany Service Centre along with the social worker Mrs. Shailaja organised this seminar. The president of Sahodaya Bethany Women Federation Mrs. Shobha Sundaresh welcomed, Secretary Mrs. Manjula, as well as Mrs. Nalini Shetty proposed vote of thanks and Mrs. Sunitha compered. 57 Federation members took active part in the deliberations of this seminar.
