You just really need to comfort her and just be there. Keep telling her that everything will be ok and not to worry.

Is marrying my best friend a good idea? Please suggest
-
p.,
bangalore
|
It often happens that two close friends end up getting married when they fail to find a suitable partner. While some of these marriages work, however, others fail and both partners regret not only the dissolution of romance, but also the loss of a close and much-loved confidante -- it's unlikely that husband and wife can remain good pals through a messy separation and divorce.

My friend wants to die and he's asked me to help him. I don't know what to do? Am I being a good friend if I don't help him? His life is really bad right now and he is totally depressed. If I help him commit suicide will I get in trouble? How can I get him to change his mind?
-
p.,
bangalore
|
Your friend needs help, but he doesn't need it to die, he needs it to live. Urge him to seek out help and get it you. Stay strong and refuse to "help" him die. Tell him that as his friend you won't help him destroy himself; you will only help him reclaim his life.

I want to build muscle but i need to lose some more weight. Right now the plan is to do cardio+count calories/weight lift so i can lose weight while still building muscle. Can this work?
-
p.,
bangalore
|
Of course! That plan sounds very good; just don't restrict yourself to a too small amount of calories. If you will be exercising, you need to be eating at least 2000 calories a day to sustain yourself. Also, don't go overboard on the weight lifting. Lift what is comfortable, it’s terrible on the muscles to lift more then necessary.

If Jesus is God, how could he die? If Jesus died on the cross, then how can he be alive today?
-
p.,
bangalore
|
His body really did die. The Roman soldiers made sure of that. They were experts at killing people.at killing people. Jesus Christ's physical body was 100-percent human, not just part human. Our bodies can die, and so could his. When we die, our physical body dies, but our soul and spirit remain. They are eternal; they never die. The same is true of Jesus Christ. His physical body died, but his inner self is eternal and did not die.

Is Jesus Christ a man, or is he God?
-
p.,
bangalore
|
Jesus Christ is most definitely God. He created Adam and Eve, the first man and woman, in his image. He is the Creator of the universe. The Bible says, "Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made" (John 1:3). It is important not be confused. God did not create Jesus. Jesus is God, and he has always existed.

I want to get my eyebrow pierced and was wondering: Why can't I do it myself or have a friend do it?
-
p.,
bangalore
|
Whenever part of the body is pierced, there's a risk of infection, prolonged bleeding, scarring, tetanus, and sometimes even nerve damage. These risks are especially high if the piercing is done using amateur equipment or if the person performing the piercing doesn't know what he or she is doing. Because of the risks, many U.S. states require piercing locations to be licensed and monitored for safety. People who are licensed to do piercings know:
· how to keep everything clean (which requires a special piece of equipment called an autoclave)
· the kind of needle to use
· what type of jewelry to insert
· what instructions to give you so that you can keep your piercing healthy and clean

Can I pop a pimple if I can see the white part?
-
p.,
bangalore
|
It's tempting, but popping or squeezing a pimple won't necessarily get rid of the problem. Squeezing can actually push bacteria and pus deeper into the skin, which can cause more swelling and redness. Squeezing can also lead to scabs and may leave you with permanent pits or scars. Because popping isn't the way to go, patience is the key. Your pimple will disappear on its own, and by leaving it alone you're less likely to be left with any reminders that it was there. To dry a pimple up faster, apply 5% benzoyl peroxide gel or cream once or twice a day. You can buy this over the counter at your local drugstore. If you're concerned about acne, talk to your doctor or a dermatologist.

DO I NEED TO WORRY ABOUT HIV and AIDS?
-
p.,
bangalore
|
Everybody has to be informed about HIV and AIDS.
Being young doesn't protect you from getting AIDS. A lot of people in their 20s and 30s who are dying from AIDS today became infected when they were teenagers. It's not who you are - gay or straight, male or female, black or white - but what you do that puts you at risk for HIV infection.

When can a youth move on their own and what do they have to do?
-
p.,
bangalore
|
Planning is done on an individual basis with the social worker and the decision is based on the youth’s maturity, preparedness and personal situation. Youth are encouraged to begin as early as possible to save money and begin to collect household items in preparation of when they actually decide to move to a more independent living situation.
